SPOILER ALERT!

Who said that all stories of dragons are the same?

Firelight - Sophie Jordan Vanish: A Firelight Novel - Sophie Jordan Hidden - Sophie Jordan

Synopsis:

Marked as special at an early age, Jacinda knows her every move is watched. But she longs for freedom to make her own choices. When she breaks the most sacred tenet among her kind, she nearly pays with her life. Until a beautiful stranger saves her. A stranger who was sent to hunt those like her. For Jacinda is a draki, a descendant of dragons whose greatest defense is her secret ability to shift into human form.

Forced to flee into the mortal world with her family, Jacinda struggles to adapt to her new surroundings. The only bright light is Will. Gorgeous, elusive Will who stirs her inner draki to life. Although she is irresistibly drawn to him, Jacinda knows Will's dark secret: He and his family are hunters. She should avoid him at all costs. But her inner draki is slowly slipping away;if it dies she will be left as a human forever. She'll do anything to prevent that. Even if it means getting closer to her most dangerous enemy.

Review:

This story is entertaining, quick read with a touch of romance and adventure. The characters are completely different from each other, some very nice others you will hate immediately (and you have to hate them). The romance between Jacinda and Will is intense, hardcore, and the risk each other lives constantly in those dangerous situations in which they are stuck.

But I must be honest, I liked it more the love felt for Jacinda Cassian. I think because I identified with, as I am not of those who show their love in words, I just can't, but I do it with actions, just like Cassian does. I could see that what he felt was intense and pure, but Jacinda could not see it until it was late, after falling in love with Will. But Of course, if she had not fallen in love with a hunter, this story never happened. But still, team Cassian!

Now you tell me, what did you think about this trilogy? Are you team Will or team Cassian?
